Love these treats as a kid (or even still now as an adult)?? Well, now you can make them and feel good about eating them 🙂
- 1 box brown rice crisps cereal (I like Erewhon brand)
- 1 3/4 c brown rice syrup
- 3/4 c peanut butter (unsweetened)
- 3/4 c golden raisins
Empty cereal into a large bowl. In small saucepan over low heat, cook brown rice syrup until liquefied. Add a pinch of salt and the peanut butter and stir till combined. Add syrup mixture to bowl of cereal and stir with a wooden spoon. Stir in raisins.
Turn out into 9×13″ baking pan. Wet your wooden spoon slightly and press mixture down into the pan. Let cool for at least one hour, then cut into squares and enjoy!
