WHAT IS THE MINDFUL EATING CLEANSE?
Sickness and disease are a part of life with poor quality food being a major contributor. Our food supply is laced with carcinogenic chemicals, not to mention antibiotics and genetically modified organisms (GMOs).
Our food sustains our blood, comes, and organs at a cellular level. If our food is unhealthy, we become unhealthy. Our healthcare system, though well intended, is optimized to mask symptoms, rather than solve root causes.
The Mindful Eating Cleanse will begin the process of change. We will start by cutting out what we don’t need: sugar, dairy, gluten and caffeine. Then we will begin eating nutrient dense food, healthy fats and more plant-based food. Recipes will be provided along the way.
We need to feed ourselves physically, emotionally and spiritually to heal ourselves from within. Let’s take back our health! It won’t happen overnight, but the gradual transformation will be an exciting and delicious journey!
FOOD SENSITIVITY
Cleaning up your diet will help you to discover how food affects your body. Some of the most common foods that cause sensitivity are: wheat (anything with flour), dairy and sugar. Some of the symptoms of food sensitivity are:
skin: acne, dark circles, eczema, dermatitis, hives, itching, psoriasis, rosacea
respiratory: asthma, chronic sinus infections, cough, frequent colds, hay fever, nose bleeds, post nasal drip, sinusitis, stuffy nose, wheezing

We will learn how to make nutrient dense snacks that will keep you fulfilled between meals. Restaurants are not off limits! We’ll talk about how to order off the menu. And you will change your diet with the change of the seasons.
